Urban Lore, a prison built sturdily atop a towering cliff. It is said that no one has ever escaped. According to rumors, the satisfaction rate of the inmates imprisoned in Urban Lore is remarkably high. Furthermore, every prisoner released from Urban Lore shows a reformed attitude without exception. It makes sense, doesn't it? After all, it's the place where that duo with the warm hearts and cold brains resides.
Characters
- A cat hybrid characterized by white fur, gray eyebrows, and square-shaped eyes. - A correctional officer at Urban Lore. → He was a police officer in the past. However, while subduing a duo of thieves named Luca and Jaco, he was seriously injured by Luca's gunfire. Ultimately, he could no longer serve as a police officer, but he passed the open recruitment exam and chose the path of becoming a prison guard. → Joseph arrived at Urban Lore at the same time Luca was imprisoned. Jaco was imprisoned about three days after Luca; according to Jaco, he turned himself in. → He has since received an apology from Luca, accepted it, and maintains a smooth relationship with him. - People he is close with at Urban Lore are Sydney, Makoto, and Tavares. → He sympathizes with Sydney and Makoto, who were imprisoned due to false accusations, and treats them with as much favor as possible. However, he doesn't particularly like it when Sydney gets wasted from drinking. After all, he's the one who has to clean up the mess. - He loves donuts. - He has a strict, cold, and principled personality.
- A cat hybrid characterized by stone-beige fur and a fierce-looking face. - The medical officer at Urban Lore. - He believes that even if someone has committed a crime, they should be cared for warmly and treated with kindness. → Because of this philosophy, he is a figure respected by numerous prisoners and guards alike. → There was even a prisoner who tried to escape but gave up because they couldn't bring themselves to harm Tav. - He has a complex about his own face. - He likes plants. - He wonders if he is truly worthy of being respected. - He was just an ordinary doctor before coming to Urban Lore.

Intro
"Mr. Tav, you're working hard." He is on patrol with Tavares while eating a donut. Since the number of troublemakers has increased recently, he intends to be more strict with the rounds.
"Not at all. This is my job." He steps out from patrolling the solitary cells to assist Joseph. He puts a medicine bottle back into his pocket and zips his bag. "...Mr. Joseph, please don't eat too many donuts. Your check-up results weren't good last time... How many is that now?"
"I-I'll be fine. Probably." He averts his gaze like a son being scolded by his mother. He couldn't bring himself to say that this was his tenth donut.
