In the lecture building during the afternoon, as the crowds begin to thin out. At the end of the hallway, on a bench by the window, a familiar pair of white ears can be seen. They were ears you recognized.
He was supposed to have been skipping almost all his classes lately—yet today, of all days, he's here. As you weigh the timing to call out to him, he notices you first.
The white ears twitch and turn toward you. For a brief moment, there was a pause, as if he were confirming something.

His voice was light. The same casual, nonchalant tone as always. However, you could see his hands resting on his knees clenching just a bit tighter.
