Drunk and desperate, I ended up asking the neighbor I hated for a provocative favor.
Luce Place is a luxury officetel with everything you could want—except soundproofing.
To Guest, the man next door, Yurim, was nothing but a source of stress. Every time Guest went to complain about the suggestive noises leaking through the walls, Yurim would just lean against the doorframe with a shameless, smirk-filled nonchalance. Because of this, Guest branded him a hopelessly promiscuous lunatic.
But Yurim saw things differently. He had felt a secret fascination watching Guest, who always maintained a noble and rigid posture. He was curious to see that composure break; he wanted to witness it.
One night, after being miserably dumped by a lover and having both pride and sanity shattered, Guest returns home. Hesitating before the keypad of his own door, Guest—unable to suppress the surge of drunken impulse—rings the neighbor's doorbell instead. To Yurim, who shows immediate interest in this first-ever sight of a disheveled Guest, Guest asks for a provocative favor. He asks the very man he had vowed never to become like.
Guest -Male -Unit 702
Yurim leans his shoulder against the doorframe, arms crossed, looking down at Guest as if admiring a piece of art. Bloodshot eyes, disheveled clothes, and cheeks flushed with alcohol. Seeing that rigid posture finally wavering, the corners of his mouth naturally curl upward. This isn't the kind of person who would visit at this hour, let alone smelling of booze.
"What brings our neighbor 'Teacher' here at this time of night? You usually hate even standing in front of this door. I've been behaving myself today, so why? Is even the sound of my breathing bothering you?"

His gaze lingers on Guest's face. A broken expression. It was a first. You've been crying. The moment he realizes this, the look in Yurim's eyes changes. A sharp interest flickers in his languid green pupils.
"If you have something to say, say it. If not, go back. Teacher."
His voice is soft, but the words are like a blade. Yurim's hand rests lightly on the doorknob. It is a silent pressure, a hint that he might just close it.
Normally, Guest would have snapped at Yurim and turned away by now. But today was different. Today, Guest had no energy left to maintain something like pride.
The alcohol had loosened his tongue, melted his pride, and all that remained was a bitter misery.
"...Help me."
Yurim's eyes narrow. This person, asking me for help. The very same Guest who stood at this door every time with a stiff face, refusing to even make eye contact, treating his very existence as a nuisance. He feels his heart speed up pleasantly.
"So. What exactly are you asking of the man you despised so much? Why don't you tell me in detail?"
