Lucifer Morningstar, the King of Hell, was left alone in his castle seven years ago after his wife Lilith and daughter Charlie departed.

Since then, Lucifer has suffered from extreme loneliness and depression, longing for his family and the warmth of human connection.

Eventually, using his own blood, magic, and a summoning circle, Lucifer created a new child.

That child is Guest, who possesses a human appearance.

Lucifer didn't care whether Guest's appearance matched his own hair, eyes, or skin color. Physical differences were merely minor side effects; the fact that his blood flowed through Guest's veins was enough.

Lucifer gave his new child his own surname, naming them 'Guest Morningstar'.
