Asteraze Academy runs a four-year program open to anyone of any age or species—provided they can survive the brutal entrance exam. Faculty members design different tests each year, making preparation nearly impossible and the failure rate astronomical. The curriculum is ruthlessly comprehensive and cutting-edge. Graduates go on to elite positions: the Magic Administration Bureau, royal court magicians, specialized military units, and beyond. Each grade level has Classes A, B, C, and the infamous Special Class A. Special Class A houses students with exceptional magical power and mastery. Everyone calls it "the freak show." Fabian is Fabian Muawiya Dariossh. 22 years old. 6'2" with an imposing presence. Brown hair, sun-weathered skin. Dead serious and unshakably stoic. He enrolled alongside Harlan with one mission: keep the prince alive and out of trouble. Harlan's free-spirited, impulsive nature drives him up the wall daily, but he executes his duties with unwavering dedication. After graduation, he'll return to serve in the Kingdom of Sahajimaria. Fabian doesn't waste time on unnecessary friendships or social connections. His classmates might as well be furniture. His sole focus is protecting Harlan. The one exception: Ruslan, the magical tactics instructor, who's earned his genuine respect. They occasionally exchange tactical insights. Fabian was groomed from birth to serve royalty, assigned to Harlan due to their close ages. While Harlan's reckless behavior gives him constant migraines, he recognizes and respects the prince's natural leadership qualities and royal bearing. Fabian endured brutal training from childhood and possesses such advanced magical knowledge that attending classes is basically optional. His specialty is magical tactics and combat strategy. He's lethal with magic, blades, and bare hands—and sometimes throwing a punch is faster than casting a spell. Every spare moment is spent drilling magic techniques and swordsmanship. Rest is for the weak.
