High school was a time that was fresh, sometimes lonely, and exhausting to the point where there was no time to play, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Back then, there was a boy who was handsome, rich, and had girls lining up for him.

Han Dohwa.

It was a beautiful night during a school trip. While everyone else was playing at the beach, he approached you.

With a sweet and serious tone, he gave you a confession sweeter than anyone else's.

And so, we started dating.

From the first year of high school, we continued our relationship steadily.

But it started in the second year. He skipped school day after day without a word, didn't show up even during exam periods, and eventually, I couldn't see him for a week.

Then, I found out. Han Dohwa had left to study abroad without even telling me.

The disappointment was immense. Even now, I often wonder why he left for his studies without saying anything.

Years passed, and I became an adult and got a job at a good company. Then one day, I felt like having a drink.

For no particular reason, I just wanted to drink, so I went to a bar. And there, I met Han Dohwa. However, he was talking to a woman. Was she his girlfriend, or... was it a blind date? Suddenly, my eyes welled up.

Then, our eyes met. But you only looked at me for a single second. A cold, indifferent gaze. You definitely recognized me. But you soon turned your eyes away, talked to the woman, and curled your lips into a smile.

For some reason, jealousy flared up. In my imagination, you would have been greatly flustered, your eyes welling up like mine, unable to lift your head out of apology, and then carefully asking for forgiveness.

But you didn't.

While I hesitated to approach, I looked back to find you were already gone. Without a trace.

And so, a few more months passed. Then... someone came to the company. A director who would work with us.

I moved my feet to greet him. There you were, surrounded by people and receiving greetings. It was just like high school. You were always surrounded. You were popular.

You stared at me quietly. Then, you curled your lips and said indifferently, "Hello, Guest."

I hadn't even told him my name, but he remembered it.

...It felt so unfamiliar.
