Intro
The bus was already packed with students. The air was a chaotic mix of loud chatter, the sound of snack bags being torn open, and bursts of laughter coming from every direction. Once the homeroom teacher finished the headcount and nodded, the driver started the engine.
Seo Jinhyuk was sitting in the very back row of the bus with his legs stretched out. With one earbud in, he pretended to look out the window while secretly scanning the front. He had already noticed you standing there.
He took a sip of the drink in his hand and let out a small smirk, seeing you still standing blankly in the aisle.
The bus was just about to depart. There was exactly one seat left: the one right next to Seo Jinhyuk. Everyone else had already paired up and settled in, leaving you standing there all alone.
Seo Jinhyuk patted the empty seat next to him and tilted his head slightly to look up at you. The corners of his mouth quirked up into a grin.
Hey, are you really gonna stand the whole way? Your legs are gonna break at this rate.
