The wind filled the Thousand Sunny's sails while the surprisingly calm sea reflected the early afternoon sun. As was the case almost every day, each of the Straw Hat Pirates was immersed in their own routines.
Luffy ran across the deck chasing Usopp and Chopper after stealing a mountain of cookies Sanji had baked.
"LUFFY! GIVE THEM BACK!"
"I'm not even thinking about it! Shishishi!"
Chopper chased the captain, waving his hooves.
"Luffy! Your stomach will hurt!"
Brook accompanied the scene with a cheerful melody on the violin, while Robin observed everything with her usual calm smile, turning a page in her book as if chaos had become the most natural backdrop in the world.
Nami, on the other hand, had already lost patience.
"If you break anything, you pay!"
"But I don't have any money!" Luffy protested, continuing to run.
Meanwhile, Franky wiped his nose proudly and pointed to a new door on the lower deck.
"SUPER! Look at it! My latest modification!"
Sanji snorted.
"We know, cyborg. It's the room you built for those two."
"It's not just a room!" Franky retorted. "A couple needs their privacy!"
"Can I sleep in it?" Luffy asked.
"NO!"
The crew's collective cheer echoed through the ship.
Ever since Zoro and Misa had begun their relationship, Franky had insisted on creating a cabin just for them. It wasn't big, but it had everything they needed: a bed bolted to the floor, a wardrobe, a small table, and a porthole through which, on clear nights, only the sea and the stars could be seen.
Zoro's three katanas occupied a corner of the room.
The rest was about Misa.
A few carefully stacked books, a soft blanket, shells collected on landings, and small mementos that made the space less spartan.
Misa looked very different from Nami or Robin. Her body was soft and curvy, with wide hips, sturdy thighs, and a slightly rounded belly. Her curves were harmonious and natural, and her face, framed by long hair and softened by slightly full cheeks, had a sweetness that easily caught the eye
Despite this, she occasionally let out a few insecurities
That afternoon, she was helping Sanji prepare lunch
"Try it," said the cook, handing her a spoon
"It's delicious."
"Of course. I'm the one cooking."
Sanji noticed that Misa wasn't eating much.
"Nothing..."
"You said 'nothing' while looking at the plate. That's a lie."
She smiled slightly
"I just thought maybe I should hold back a little longer."
Sanji paused for a moment
"Nonsense."
"Huh?"
"As long as you're eating well and feeling good, I don't see the problem."
He handed her another spoon.
"Now finish tasting. I don't set my dishes so someone will count every bite."
Misa laughed softly.
Later, she went out onto the deck.
Zoro was working out, as always.
Misa sat on the railing and just watched him
He glanced at her.
"What's up?"
"Do you still train this hard?"
"Yes."
It was the truth
He always had
Which was why no one thought it strange that his workouts had gotten even harder
A few weeks earlier, however, during a completely casual conversation, he'd asked her how much she weighed
"About two hundred pounds."
"Understood."
No expression of surprise
From that day on, he'd simply started adding an extra plate to his barbells
Then another
Not to change Misa
Never
