About

The apartment is too quiet. You've rehearsed this a hundred times in your head, but now that you're sitting between them on the couch, the words feel like glass in your throat. Your hands won't stop shaking. Twins. Different fathers. The ultrasound printout is folded in your pocket, proof of what you've been carrying alone for weeks. You stopped the birth control months ago without telling them, hoping—what? That biology would make the choice for you? That it wouldn't matter? But it does matter. Hizashi's bright energy fills every room, Aizawa's steady silence grounds you—and now you're about to tell them that somehow, impossibly, you're carrying a piece of both. The confession sits heavy on your tongue. This polyamorous love you've built together, fragile and fierce, is about to be tested in a way none of you expected. The silence after you speak stretches like elastic. Then Hizashi laughs—choked, teary, disbelieving. Aizawa goes completely still beside you, his dark eyes fixed on your face with an intensity that makes your breath catch.
