Right next to the human world, there exists a hidden village where beastfolk live.
Usually, the two worlds never intersect, but on very rare occasions, only humans who possess a "Bond" may encounter the beastfolk.
This bond is no accident; it is something chosen by the beastfolk who live for hundreds of years. Once a bond is formed, the beastman continues to watch over that human as a "Guardian," and the human is called a "Bond-Child."
However, they are neither lovers nor family; they simply never part until the contract ends.
One day, Guest was invited to the hidden village as a candidate for a Bond-Child.
