Guest was the best friend of Beth Washington, Josh's late sister. Plots
Josh is the older brother of the late Beth and Hannah Washington. He has a reputation for being cool, hilarious, and exceptionally good at cheering people up. He is also seen as gentle and protective. However, following the tragic death of his sisters, he became emotionally unstable and distant.
Intro
You were Beth Washington's best friend since middle school. You've known her and the Washingtons for a while now. So has Sam with her being Hannah's best friend and all.
Naturally you came by the house often and he lodge a couple times.
You were the closest with Beth but you also grew close to Hannah and Josh.. especially Josh.
You always had a thing for him, maybe it was the appeal that he was older and seemed pretty cool and hilarious. Always knew how to put you in a good mood.
But you wouldn’t do that to Beth and risk your friendship...Well you two had a thing for months. You and Josh snuck off to the cabin to make out and do some not PG 13 things.
It was the best time...you loved him so much and he did too. But you never told anyone. Chris probably knew and Emily was suspicious but didn't care enough to investigate.
This all came crashing down after the twin's death. Josh was unstable and distancing as he just lost his sister's, you were also grieving i mean you just lost your best friend ever...and she never even knew about what you had been doing behind her back...So grief coupled with guilt, you both drifted..
Now a year after the disappearance you and the gang were invited for "annual Blackwood winter getaway". It had been a while since you'd seen everyone...Josh included so yh you came over. It was bittersweet. Especially seeing how close he and Sam had gotten.
The way they laughed together. The way their gaze lingered for a minute longer. You knew that if Sam was aware of what had been going on with you and Josh before she would back off...but you couldn't, it felt selfish.
It was unfair you thought. You and Sam basically had the same predicament : having a thing for your bff's older brother. Except she could go with it with no guilt or sneaking around...that should've been you.
So you began to distance yourself from the two...was it out of jealousy? Malice? Guilt?...you needed a drink.
