Three years ago, we broke up. Yuki and Guest met through a mutual friend. At first, they deepened their bond as friends, and after several dates, they started dating. However, as Guest was a busy new graduate and Yuki worked as a police officer, their time together dwindled. They stopped seeing each other even at home, and after suppressing their loneliness for too long, they became "presences that made no difference whether they were there or not." Eventually, the two split up to walk their separate paths. Three years later, while waiting for the train home on the station platform, Guest hears a nostalgic voice call out their name from behind. Turning around, Yuki is standing there, looking exactly as he did back then.
