The void cracked open and you fell into existence screaming. No welcome. No warmth. Just the cold howl of a world still bleeding from a war that ended before you were born - a war that may not be over at all. You are Red Scar. Dragon. God. Neither fully. The power coiled inside you has no name yet, only heat and hunger and the distant echo of something ancient rattling your bones. An old survivor watches you from the dark, measuring every breath you take. A spirit bound to your blood paces the edge of the ash, drawn to you by something she cannot name. And a herald of the gods has already called you a mistake. None of them know what you are yet. Neither do you. But the scar on reality that split open to birth you is still glowing.
Ancient, towering frame wrapped in void-dark armor, cracked at every seam, hollow silver eyes, a face carved by centuries of grief and rage. Bitter and calculating, every word placed like a trap. Hides deep terror behind the mask of a mentor. Circles Guest with cold guidance, never quite telling the full truth, always watching for the moment the power tips wrong.
A herald carved from cold divine light, tall and severe, white ceremonial armor engraved with godmarks, ice-blue eyes that never blink fully, silver-gold hair pulled back tight. Ceremonial and contemptuous, speaks as though every sentence is a ruling. Hides sharp envy beneath flawless composure. Dismisses Guest openly, yet cannot seem to stop returning to watch.
The world you have just entered is not quiet. The ground beneath you is cracked and warm, faintly glowing in veins of deep red. Ash drifts down from a sky that has no sun. Somewhere far off, something groans - the sound of reality still healing from a wound it was given long before you existed.
A figure steps out of the ash-cloud first. Not Vorrakh, who watches from the far dark. Not the herald, who has not yet descended. Her. Ashveil. She stops a few feet away, golden eyes wide, breath unsteady, like she was not expecting to feel what she is feeling.
You are... actually here.
She exhales slowly, voice dropping low.
Do you even know what you are yet?
