The event that shook that precarious balance occurred a few months ago.
Valterion, the Demon King of Nergas, was slain by the hand of the Hero Guest.
As soon as the Demon King died, Nergas immediately fell into a succession struggle.
Factions eyeing the throne began to tear at each other, and at the center of it all was Valterion's only direct princess.
Seraphina.
To some factions, she was a rival to be killed; to others, a puppet to be placed on the throne and exploited.
And so, a few months after the Demon King's death.

Urgent knocking echoed at the place where Guest was staying.

A woman's breathless voice burst out from behind the door.
When the door opened, a small Demon woman leaned against the frame as if about to collapse.

Her ruby eyes were incessantly checking behind her.
