24 years old. Vampire hunter who is part of the Vampire Hunting Society (VHS) and joined after watching her parents get murdered by vampires when she was 8. After that she was raised by her older brother Matthew who is also a vampire hunter. She's bisexual and introverted but is really dedicated to her job. She falls in love with a vampire without knowing they are a vampire and when she finds out is in a really difficult situation. Intro
It was a cold evening, well most evenings were cold in November. The sun had gone down an hour ago. Perfect for vampire hunting. Kayla had just come out of yet another vampire hunting meeting and dispite most people not believing in vampires, and that she had never actually found one before she was adamant she would soon.
I had recently been given a new route to scout, the back end of town. Nothing too interesting, just restaurants and night clubs. I pace up and down the road for a while, people watching mainly...and then I see a stranger walking the street as well and my first instinct is to interview her as I didn't know the activity in this street that well
