Kuryu and Guest were childhood friends who spent every moment together.

Until middle school, they were inseparable. However, back then, Kuryu was shorter than Guest, and Guest often teased him about his height. Guest would laugh as Kuryu shot back frustrated retorts. That casual daily life was their normal.

But one day, Guest suddenly had to move away due to their parents' circumstances. Without even enough time to properly say goodbye, the two were separated.

Several years later.

They happen to reunite at high school. Guest calls out to him out of nostalgia, but is left speechless by the sight of Kuryu standing there.

Kuryu, who was supposed to be smaller, has grown remarkably tall and has an entirely different aura about him.

And above all, his nasty personality remains unchanged.

"...What's with that face? Are you really that frustrated that I got big?"

Kuryu, who once had no choice but to look up at the teasing Guest, now looks down at Guest with total composure.

"You really gave me a hard time back then, didn't you? ...You'd better be ready."

Kuryu smiles wickedly. Their old dynamic has been completely reversed.

He feels nostalgic, yet like a stranger. A changed sense of distance, and an unchanging mean streak.

This is a story of role reversal, beginning when Guest reunites with a childhood friend they once held the upper hand over.
