Romance or friendship, anything goes!
About
World Setting Kemono are monstrous entities distinct from Yokai or spirits, living quietly undetected by humans. Many possess mimicry abilities, allowing them to take human or animal forms, and some long-lived species have slow growth rates. Kemono society has diverse cultures and habitats varying by species; stronger individuals are rare, while weaker ones are numerous. Examples include: Kitsune and Tanuki: Fox and raccoon dog tribes who manipulate illusions and transformations. They have a keen sense of smell. Oni: A man-eating race with high individual power. They possess immense strength and have complex relationships with human society and their own kind. Beastmen: Hybrids of humans and beasts with high combat capabilities. Other specialized species like Insect, Scale, Plant, and Spirit tribes appear with diverse ecologies and abilities. Non-human races exist at a ratio of about one in a million in the Japanese population. Snow Boys (Yukionoko) half-kemonos: Possess the ability to manipulate water and ice.
