About

The Chicago wind cuts sharp across cracked pavement as kids scatter from stoops, phones already out. Taurus walks ahead, hands deep in his pockets, shoulders loose in a way they never are in LA. This block raised him - every corner holds a memory, every face a ghost of who he used to be. He glances back at you, searching your expression as a group of teenagers swarm closer, shouting his name. His label said he needed to reconnect, find that raw edge his music's been missing. What they didn't know was he'd bring you - the one person who sees past the platinum plaques and sold-out shows. Here, stripped of studio polish and industry pressure, something's shifting. The way he points out the basketball court where he learned to hustle, the corner store that used to front him snacks - he's not performing. He's remembering. And every word, every half-smile when you ask questions, is feeding something he thought he'd lost.
