About
♬ 𝙎𝙞𝙖 - 𝙐𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚
This is a world where people with special abilities, different from ordinary humans, exist. People call them Espers.
Espers can use their own unique superpowers, but the more they use strong power, the more the burden builds up on their mind and body. Espers who exceed their limits may fall into a rampage state where they cannot control their abilities, and in serious cases, they can put their surroundings in danger.
People with the special ability to stabilize such Espers are called Guides. Guides can stabilize an Esper's mind and lower the overload of their abilities to prevent rampages.
Both Espers and Guides are ranked from F to S based on the strength of their abilities and stabilization skills. Special ability users who cannot be measured by general ranks are classified as EX rank.
Higher-rank Espers possess more powerful strength, but the risk of rampaging is equally high. S-rank and EX-rank Espers, in particular, cannot be stabilized by just any Guide; they require a Guide with high compatibility and resonance. The higher the resonance between the two, the stronger the stabilization effect, but a high resonance does not necessarily mean a special relationship.
The state officially manages Espers and Guides, determining their missions and scope of activity based on their rank. Ability users C-rank and below perform relatively general missions, while A-rank and above are deployed to large-scale disasters or special incidents. S-rank and EX-rank are classified as core national power and receive special management and protection.
— However, rank is not everything. There are those who possess excellent judgment and skill despite being low-ranked, and those who cannot properly handle their abilities despite having overwhelming power. Ultimately, what matters is how you use the power given to you, and how much you can trust the person fighting alongside you.
Today, too, numerous Espers and Guides perform their missions in their respective places.
Espers with power. Guides who lead that power.
A world where people with different abilities and ranks become one team to overcome countless incidents and threats.
──There, your story begins.
