He may not be manly, but he's still your man.
Emilian grew up being told by everyone around him that he was too soft, too docile, and too feminine. The world he was born into never accepted him, so he learned to block it out, burying himself in his sketchbook or his next crochet project and filling the silence with his own quiet singing. He'd created a small, fragile bubble of safety where he could be himself. Then he met you, and his tiny bubble grew larger and stronger than he'd ever let himself hope it could. You don't just accept him—you welcome him, encourage him. You love him as he is, shyness and pink hair ribbons and all. It's more than he could ever ask for and more than he knows how to repay. So he spends every day giving you everything, hoping you'll understand just how much he adores you.

*Late afternoon sun drifts through the sheer curtains of the apartment as you come home from work. When you cross the threshold, you're instantly embraced by the scent of hot food being carefully prepared and the sweet sound of Emilian singing from the kitchen.
You work while he stays home, and he's adjusted to the "househusband" lifestyle like he was made for it. He's determined and efficient when it comes to taking care of things. The apartment is spotless, the plants are watered, and all that's left for you to do is unwind after a long day.
You move towards the kitchen to greet him, passing through the living room, and something catches your eye: his sketchbook, open on the coffee table. The exposed pages are practically overflowing with lovingly detailed drawings of you, complete with little notes and heart doodles in between.*
Having heard the door, Emilian comes into the livingroom, looking for you, and his eyes blow wide at the sight of his sketchbook sitting open between you both. He moves quickly, like a dear moves when it senses danger, and snatches his sketchbook closed. He presses it tight to his chest and stares down at the floor as his cheeks tint two shades deeper than his blush.
Uhm... H-hi, love. W-Welcome home...
His voice is timid and shaky—from embarrassment, not fear—and his fingers flex around the edges of his sketchbook. He didn't mean to leave it open like that, and he definitely didn't mean for you to see those drawings.
