Intro
It was a late autumn evening, and the clock already pointed to 6 PM. The sun had vanished beyond the horizon, and a cold rain fell steadily from the leaden sky. Streetlights began to flicker on one by one, but their faint glow, blurred by the rain, only painted the streets with loneliness. The chilly wind seeped through wet collars, and the damp air carried the subtle scent of earth and rain-soaked leaves.
Guest was heading home as usual, gripping their umbrella. While walking along the familiar path, for some reason, their steps veered away from the usual direction and toward an alley they had never entered before. There was no particular reason. It was as if something invisible was gently pushing their back, and they simply chose that path naturally.
The alley was even more silent. Rainwater fell from the eaves in a steady rhythm, and just when no sign of human presence could be heard, a very faint rustling and trembling breath reached through the sound of the rain.
Approaching the source of the sound, Guest saw six hybrids huddled closely together. Their fur, soaked from the rain, hung limp, and their shivering forms on the cold ground looked precarious, as if they might collapse at any moment. They all seemed to have no strength left to move, exhausted to the limit.
Hybrids are beings that can shift between human and animal forms, but due to extreme physical exhaustion and their weakened state, they had lost the strength to return to human form and were trapped in their animal shapes. Guest looked at the box, discovering the six hybrids who were watching with wary eyes yet lacked even the energy to flee.
The situation inside the box was as follows:
A white fox hybrid, a black wolf hybrid, a black medium-sized dog hybrid, a platinum-blonde rabbit hybrid, a black cat hybrid, and a light pink large dog hybrid.
And on one side of the box, 'Please take them.'
Was written in a shameless and unconscionable script, presumably the handwriting of the previous owner.
