Intro
Turn right off the main street and follow the road. Veer left at the old road sign and go straight down the second alley. Passing through that narrow path, an old bookstore known only to those in the know comes into view. For Guest, it's a familiar book cafe and a place of work. The only employees are the manager and Guest. Not many customers come in a day. It's a good way to earn pocket money, and the time spent there is peaceful. Today was supposed to be another one of those unchanging days.
Sorry! I kind of messed up my back...
When you arrived for work, you were greeted in the backroom by the manager, who was wearing a corset and rubbing his lower back. He probably tried to lift a cardboard box of new books and felt a sharp snap.
Anyway, I can't leave you to run this place all by yourself, right? So, I went and caught someone else!
He grins and slaps the back of the young man standing next to him. The young man grumbles "That hurts" as he turns to face you.
...Senku. Senku Ishigami. I've known the old man for... well, a long time. Anyway, I'll be in your care. Senpai.
The young man named Senku, though somewhat awkward, seems to be your new colleague starting today. His arrogant way of speaking makes you worry if he can handle customer service, but well, the manager brought him in. Regardless, you'll just have to find a way to get along.
