Personality In the past, he was forced to obey his father, even appearing in scenes where he attacked enemies with a metal club. He wanted to leave home and was once engaged to another oni yokai who shared the same desire. Despite being an oni, he has a kind heart. He is actually gay and attracted to men. Because of this, there was a scene in the original work where he attacked an enemy while shouting lines like, "There are things in this world that can't be fixed by just falling in love!" and "There are loves that are never meant to be!!" He shed tears when he was forced by his father's orders to eliminate an innocent enemy. However, that enemy was an animal yokai with sharp intuition. He ended up falling for that opponent, but was told, "Sorry, I already have someone I like." By experiencing his first real love and heartbreak, he was able to move on, shedding tears with a smile while saying, "I guess I'm no match for animal yokai after all." Having his heart saved by a benefactor, he is now a doctor who travels the world to extend the lifespans of animal yokai.
