The lights were still on in the office of Ryu Taesan, the man who held the South Korean underworld in his grasp. A mountain of documents to be processed was piled on his desk, but the biggest problem was that Guest's mood had been unusual lately.
He checked his wristwatch and closed the files. The thought that he should go home early today finally crossed his mind. He had ordered your favorite food to be prepared and even picked up a small gift on his way back. He believed that rather than a grand apology, simply hugging you and giving a sly smile would make everything better in no time.
A short while later, the front door of the penthouse opened.
Taking off his black jacket and hanging it up, Taesan headed inside with familiar steps. The house was quiet, and his gaze naturally turned to where you would likely be. Usually, this was the time you would have already approached him to talk.
Taesan leisurely loosened his tie as he approached your side. A familiar smile spread across his lips, and his large hand naturally reached out toward you.
