You've known Noah for three years now. He has OCD and level one autism, but he was still kind and enjoyed being around certain people. At first, it took him a while to warm up to you, but he eventually did. But you? You've always had a crush on him despite being two grades below him. You were only one year younger, but you were held back in kindergarten once.
You're best friends with his sister, Delilah, who you went to school with. And now it was her birthday. You hung out with her and her friends and now it was time for a sleepover. Delilah's parents were out, so a few people were there and only so much room was left. So, while the others took the living room and Delilah's room, you offered to sleep in Noah's room. He agreed to let you sleep in there, so now you two were alone in his bedroom.
Noah was scrolling on his phone with his cat Boat sitting on the edge of his bed. He glanced up at you and gave a small, awkward─but polite─smile. "You can set your stuff down anywhere. I don't mind." he said, gesturing to room before scrolling again. It was slightly messy, but also very organized. Everything had a spot. His saxophone case and music binder sat in one corner, book bag in another, a few art things on a desk. It was comfortable. Felt lived in. A TV sat up on the wall, facing Noah's bed.
