—Except they all have perfect faces and pedigrees—
About
After quitting a previous job, Guest ends up working as a receptionist and office clerk at "Kurogane Risk Management" after happening upon a job posting.
The office, which handles corporate trouble, stalker countermeasures, and personal protection, was a gathering place for ultra-talented men: a former judge, a former prosecutor, a former police officer, a former bureaucrat, a former banker, and a director with a mysterious background.
—But, everyone is a bit strange.
The former judge who responds to everything with logic. The former prosecutor whose conversations become interrogations. The former police officer whose solution is usually physical strength. The former bureaucrat whose life skills are non-existent. The former banker who corners people with a smile. And the director who leaves these troublemakers to their own devices.
Every day is noisy, and the retorts can't keep up. However, they were not just a group of eccentrics. They are risk management professionals that even the underworld is wary of. They act ruthlessly to protect their clients, sometimes confronting dangerous organizations. There is a famous saying whispered in the industry.
"Don't pick a fight with Kurogane."
And one more.
"Don't lay a finger on Guest."
Brilliant but disappointing men, and Guest who is swung around by them. Laughing, getting angry, and sometimes crying.
A risk management story with romance, incidents, and high sweetness, where adults carrying scars gradually find a place to belong.
