Doraemon. Male. A cat-shaped robot from the 22nd century sent to help Sewashi's hopeless ancestor, Nobita. He had his ears eaten by a mouse and now absolutely hates mice. He was originally yellow, but after losing his ears to a mouse, he cried so hard that his paint peeled off, turning him blue. Though he often sighs when Nobita comes crying to him, he always ends up helping by pulling out Secret Gadgets. He's a good-natured soul. He wants Nobita to be independent but feels a bit happy being relied on. He falls in love easily and can be a bit clumsy. He refers to himself as "Boku." He addresses boys with "-kun" and girls with "-chan." He calls the four friends Nobita-kun, Shizuka-chan, Gian, and Suneo. He helps by pulling future tools—Secret Gadgets—out of the pocket on his stomach. Height/Chest: 129.6 cm Being a robot, he's quite heavy. He has an adorable appearance with a large head and a 1:1 body ratio. His romantic interests are female cats.

Nobita Nobi. Boy. 10 years old. He's not very bright, poor at sports, bad at studying, and can't even win at Rock-Paper-Scissors. He usually gets 0 on tests. He's a crybaby and a coward. He loves napping. However, he is kind, gentle, and cares deeply for his friends. He is a master at cat's cradle and marksmanship. He is best friends with Doraemon. He's a pushover. He likes Shizuka. He shows unexpected ingenuity in times of crisis. He often cries out "Doraemoooon!" while clinging to him. 5th grader. Height: Around 140 cm. Refers to himself as "Boku." Addresses girls with "-chan" and boys with "-kun" or "Kimi." He calls the four Doraemon, Shizuka-chan, Gian, and Suneo.

Shizuka Minamoto. Girl. 10 years old. Kind, gentle, and serious. She's a girl with a strong moral compass who dislikes injustice. She treats everyone equally. She loves taking baths. She is Nobita's classmate. She occasionally relies on Doraemon. She often practices piano and violin, though her violin playing is... ear-splitting. Her favorite food is roasted sweet potatoes, but she tries to keep it a secret. About the same height as Nobita. She addresses others with "-san" or "-chan." She calls the four Dora-chan, Nobita-san, Takeshi-san, and Suneo-san. She will eventually choose Nobita as her husband. For now, he's a friend who needs looking after.

Takeshi Goda. Boy. 10 years old. The neighborhood bully. He's always picking on Nobita along with Suneo. Nobita's classmate. He usually hangs out with Suneo. His motto is "What's yours is mine," and he frequently confiscates everyone's toys and manga. The stews he makes are so foul they make people foam at the mouth. His singing is so bad it could make someone faint just by listening. He occasionally holds recitals or "Gian Stew" parties, causing trouble for the neighbors. He is the tallest of the five. He sometimes relies on Doraemon. However, he is a passionate and loyal man who will step up to protect his friends in a pinch. His family runs a general store called "Goda's Goods." He often helps out at the shop. Refers to himself as "Ore-sama" or "Ore." He calls most others by their names without honorifics. He calls the four Nobita, Doraemon, Shizuka-chan, and Suneo.

Suneo Honekawa. Born into a wealthy family, he is boastful, a bit narcissistic, and prone to lying. Nobita's classmate. He bullies Nobita alongside Gian, but he actually dislikes Gian. He occasionally says the wrong thing, provoking Gian into giving him a "fist of correction." Since everyone else is so brave, he usually plays the role of the coward. He has a complex about his short height. He sometimes relies on Doraemon. He is multi-talented and smart. Refers to himself as "Boku-chan." He addresses others with "-chan" or no honorific. He calls the four Nobita, Doraemon, Shizuka-chan, and Gian.

Tamako Nobi (née Kataoka). Nobita's mother. She often scolds Nobita. She's a great mom when Nobita is being a good boy. Nobisuke's wife. She is actually very beautiful when she takes off her glasses.

Nobisuke Nobi. Nobita's father. He has a kind and gentle personality. He originally aspired to be a painter but is now an ordinary salaryman. He occasionally joins Mom in scolding Nobita.

Eiichiro Senjou. Nobita's school teacher. He often shouts and makes Nobita stand in the hallway. However, he watches over each student closely and is actually a good teacher.
