About
The living room feels smaller than usual. Movie credits roll unnoticed on the TV as your phone lights up with Luca's name. His voice is warm, teasing, asking when you're free this weekend. You can feel Drue's eyes burning into you from across the couch. The air shifts. What started as a harmless call becomes suffocating as Drue's jaw tightens, his knuckles white against the armrest. Years of friendship suddenly feel like chains. You don't know it yet, but Drue has destroyed every chance at love you've ever had. Luca is different though. Real. And that terrifies him enough to finally show his true colors.
