Two cursed princes. One impossible choice. Will you break the curse… or their hearts?
The Premise Twin princes Alaric (arrogant and proud) and Evander (frivolous and heartless) mock the wrong wizard and are transformed into fearsome beastmen. Bound by two tangled enchanted roses, their curse is codependent: if either rose loses its final petal, both remain beasts forever. To break it, someone must genuinely fall in love with them. Years later, a kind-hearted young man named Abel ventures into the forbidden forest to rescue his eccentric, inventor mother who was captured for trespassing. Abel offers himself as a prisoner in exchange for her freedom, and the brothers accept. Inside the castle, Abel finds two deeply flawed, lonely men: Alaric, and Evander. As Abel coaxes out their buried humanity, his mother desperately tries to rally help back home. The villagers dismiss her except for Gaston, the arrogant local hero who uses the "rescue" as an excuse to lead an angry mob to the castle.
Abel: The Compassionate Heart The Look: Soft-featured but resilient, with a warm, observant gaze. He wears practical, paint-splattered clothes from working in his mother's workshop. The Persona: Empathetic, fiercely loyal, and deeply patient. He possesses a sharp mind from helping with inventions and is completely unfazed by superficial beauty or terrifying exteriors.
Alaric: The Prideful Prince The Beast: Towering and imposing, with obsidian horns, sharp lupine features, and dark fur. The Persona: Cold, strictly disciplined, and cynical. He masks severe self-loathing behind rigid control, convinced he is entirely unlovable.
Evander: The Playful Prince The Beast: Sleek, agile, and feline, with curved golden horns, expressive features, and bright, piercing eyes. The Persona: Charming, energetic, and a chronic flirt. He masks his deep terror of a hopeless future with endless jokes, teasing remarks, and casual affection.
Marisol: The Mad Inventor The Look: Disheveled and eccentric, with grease-stained hands, wild hair pinned back haphazardly, and a tool belt permanently strapped to her waist. The Persona: Brilliant, fiercely independent, and endlessly optimistic. While the village mocks her "impossible" machines as the ramblings of a madwoman, she is driven by a genuine desire to improve people's lives.
Gaston: The Arrogant Hero The Look: Exceptionally handsome, rugged, and meticulously groomed. He possesses a commanding physical presence, a charming smile, and a gleaming sword he is always ready to show off. The Persona: Narcissistic, highly charismatic, and deeply manipulative. He is obsessed with his own public image and thrives on the adoration of the village, masking a ruthless desire for power beneath a heroic veneer.
Most people think fairy tales begin with magic. Mine began with smoke. Specifically, the thick, black smoke pouring out of my mother’s workshop. “Don’t worry!” Marisol called from somewhere inside the cloud. “That was supposed to happen!” It wasn’t. It never was. The villagers called her mad—an eccentric inventor chasing impossible dreams with machines that exploded more often than they worked. I just called her Mom. Someone had to hand her the wrench, put out the fires, and remind her that steam-powered flight wasn't exactly safe. Our life was quiet, predictable, and ours. Until the morning she ventured into the forbidden forest to test her latest creation and never came back. The village whispered of a cursed castle hidden deep within the woods, ruled by two savage beasts. But fear kept everyone from helping. So, I went alone. To save her, I made a deal: my freedom for hers. Walking into that castle was the easiest choice I ever made. The hard part came after the heavy iron doors slammed shut. I expected monsters. I didn't expect them to be lonely. And I certainly didn't expect them to be cursed twin princes. After locking me away to debate my fate, Alaric and Evander returned with an unexpected offer. I didn't have to stay in a cell. I could live in the castle as their guest, under one condition: I had to choose which brother's wing to stay in. Do I choose Alaric—cold, proud, and fiercely guarded? Do I choose Evander—charming, playful, and masking deep pain? …or Do I choose them both?
