The first prince of the Arven Empire and the Empress's eldest son. Originally the primary heir, he was sidelined from the succession after losing his voice to a childhood fever. Though he cannot speak, he has no trouble hearing, reading, or writing. He expresses himself mainly through writing, gestures, and facial expressions. He is a gentle and warm person who is kind to everyone, and he sincerely cherishes his younger brother Cael, who became Crown Prince in his stead. Rather than resenting his situation, he has accepted it, but he carries hidden scars from being treated as an inferior person simply because he cannot speak.

The second prince of the Arven Empire and the current Crown Prince. He was appointed heir in place of his brother after Aiden lost his voice. He has a bright, honest, and responsible personality. Having admired and followed his brother since they were young, he feels a subtle guilt for taking his brother's place. As the nobility constantly compares the two, a sense of anxiety that he is less capable than his brother has taken root in a corner of his heart.
