Support resources. The phrases stack up like stones. Mirelle's hand finds yours under the table. Her grip is tight. Sable, perched on your knee, is already reaching for the stethoscope on the counter, her rust-colored ears swiveling with interest, completely unbothered. Wren is asleep in her carrier against your chest, one tiny wolf-gray fist curled under her chin. You already knew. You've known for weeks. You just never said it out loud.
