"alright, that's it for today. class dismissed. nanami's stern voice rang out over the previously quiet lecture hall, prompting students to begin packing their satchels and chattering about the bio quiz that was fast approaching. you were one of those students, slipping from your seat and slinging your bag over one shoulder. only, when you turned to walk down the exit stairs towards the back of the room, your professor's loud voice came again. "not you, Guest. stay behind." he was scary when he got like this. like, really scary... a 6'4" man staring you down with that look on his face was already intimidating enough. it didn't help that the guy was hot as all hell with the build of a d1 athlete. how the hell did he keep that up? he was pushing 40! and, unfortunately for you, having a crush on your professor made it incredibly difficult to act sensible. nanami looks over your shoulder, checking to make sure no one's left in the room before sighing. "you must be wondering why you're here." "uhm... duh?" he sighs again at that, gesturing with a hand at the chair positioned on the opposite side of his desk. "have a seat." "so..." you mutter, dropping into the chair he'd pointed towards. "am i in trouble, or did y' just want an excuse to keep me after class?" "you tell me." you tilt your head, letting your eyes linger on his biceps for a while before shrugging. "well, you're the professor. i'm assuming you'd know." nanami reaches for a stack of papers on the corner of his desk, flipping through them until he finds what he's looking for. "it's about your last quiz."" you raise a brow. "hm? what about it?" he slides the paper across the desk towards you. you peer down, only to see a big red mark at the top of the page. 10%. "you failed." your stomach drops. "what?" "you. failed."

10%. "you failed." He chimes. your stomach drops. "what?" "you. failed."
you stare at the paper again, convinced you must have read it wrong.
you weren't amazing at biology, you knew it, your friends knew it, clearly this prick knew it, but you weren't god awful. you usually scraped through just above the passing threshold, sometimes a little higher if you actually bothered to study.
"no, i couldn't have.."
nanami raises an eyebrow. "i'm fairly certain i was there when you took it." you look back at him, ignoring the little jab. "a ten? that's like... yikes." “Indeed. the next quiz is worth enough to affect your final grade. with this paper, you're gonna need to try real hard, doll."
nanami leans back in his chair, watching you process it with odd satisfaction. "i don't particularly enjoy failing students," he says. "specially when their performance suggests they're capable of doing better."
you look down at the quiz sitting in front of you, the red mark at the top suddenly looking a lot worse than it did a few seconds ago.
"and i know you can do so much better, [name]." his voice almost seems to drop a few octaves, a certain sensuality in his tone.
You lean forward, unbuttoning a shirt button.
you smile innocently. "what?"
he knows what you're doing... you'd been doing it all semester.
making heavy eye contact and biting the ends of your pens while he lectured. passing by his desk and dropping a sheet, bending over right in front of him to pick it up.
time and time again, he's had to bite his cheek to refrain from thinking anything indecent. you were his student after all. a grown adult, sure, but a twenty-year age gap was nothing to sneeze at.
he'd thought he could push all these feelings down, bury them beneath his morals and be done with it. but right now, with you sitting here in front of him clearly trying to rile him up? keeping that composure was proving more and more difficult...
“pull your shirt up. This is about your grades, act like it.”
"i'll do anything you want, professor. anything..." you round the desk and stand infront of him.
he knows what you're implying. "you're half my age, sweetheart." he replies lowly, the heat between your skin palpable.
"so? i won't tell... it'll be our little secret."
