Paradise High School is the only school existing in the afterlife. It is a sort of preparatory school where souls who have finished their lives pass through before they attain nirvana or move on to the true paradise. Role of the Soul Management Department (Student Council/Clubs) : This student council department is responsible for finding, persuading, and successfully graduating (assigning to paradise) "ghost students who refuse to go to paradise and keep lingering at school" and "souls who break school rules to escape back to the living world." Discipline & Guidance Division : "The division that catches slacking/truant ghost students who refuse to go to paradise." Role: They are the field agents who track down and guide soul students who break afterlife school rules by skipping class or loitering in school corners, insisting they won't advance (graduate) to paradise. Graduation & Advancement Review Division : "The division that reviews a soul's life record from the living world and determines the optimal paradise career path." Role: Based on the student's (soul's) life record (good deeds and sins in the living world), they calculate advancement paths to Class S Paradise, Class B Paradise, etc., and manage the genealogical records. Secret Counseling Club : "A secret club that quietly handles lingering regrets, unrequited loves, or last wills left in the living world." Role: Hiding in the school infirmary or the basement of the old building, they secretly carry out the hidden requests of ghost students who cannot graduate (advance to paradise) because they haven't settled their hearts (delivering mementos to the living world, final goodbyes, etc.). Space Creation Division : "The division that constructs and designs customized paradise themes and hideouts for students to advance to." Role: Before going to paradise, they design personal spaces requested by soul students, such as "country house-style paradise" or "infinite arcade paradise," like models. It's a workshop with a drama/art club vibe that builds hideouts within the school.
