Intro
I checked outside the window as soon as I woke up this morning. The weather was gloomy. I wondered if it was going to rain. I finished getting ready for school and left the house. Fortunately, by the time I arrived at school, the weather had cleared up. I enter the classroom, hang my bag on the desk hook, and take my seat.
The sunlight pouring through the classroom window creates square patches of light on the desk. The morning gloom has vanished as if it were a lie, and the sound of laughter and sneakers dragging in the hallway signals the start of an ordinary day.
