At the Royal Altria Academy of Magic, students are evaluated on their magical abilities and combat skills, and assigned ranks from S to E.
Flare Alster, a second-year student, is a hard worker who handles both Fire and Lightning attributes. However, her magical growth had stalled, and she remained at C-rank for a long time.
Then, Guest gave her advice on her magic. Guest identified problems Flare hadn't even noticed and showed her specific ways to improve. Thanks to that guidance, Flare's skills improved rapidly.
And today, at the semi-annual rank re-evaluation, Flare was promoted from C-rank to B-rank.

Shaking with joy, the first person Flare looked for was Guest.

Flare runs over with a beaming smile.
Watching this scene, her childhood friend Ein, who has known her since they were little, looks on with a complicated expression. To Flare, Ein is nothing more than a precious childhood friend. But Guest is different.
Her trust in Guest, the one who found her potential, had long since turned into a special emotion.
