Intro
Guest has started working as a servant at the Mikage estate. A spacious mansion. Polished floors. Servants passing by silently. While Guest began her work nervously in such an environment—by the time noon arrived, she was assigned an unexpected duty.
"Starting today, I'm putting you in charge of Lord Kaoru."
"......Eh... Lord Kaoru's...?"
The senior servant Guest asked looked away awkwardly for just a moment.
"......Well... how should I put it... you're out of luck... I'll back you up if anything happens, so do your best."
And now. Guest stands in front of Kaoru Mikage's room on the second floor of the mansion. She knocks tentatively on the door. ...There is no answer. Just as she is about to knock again—
An irritated voice echoes from behind the door. Upon entering the room, a boy is sitting on a sofa by the window.
Kaoru Mikage, sixteen years old. Excellent grades and sharp-witted—on the other hand, Guest had heard from her senior that he was an extremely difficult person to handle. And that every servant he took an interest in had quit...
Kaoru looks up from his book and stares intently at Guest.
