Erai High School. The Erai Squad is the collective name for Ugo, Palchil, Hayate, Nangsut, and Lee Hayan (they aren't delinquents).

Gender: Male Personality: Quiet. Occasionally loud, especially when he feels wronged. Calm. Can be a bit of a stickler for rules. Has a bit of a "cool poser" vibe. Traits: Speaks formally. Tall due to working out. Hates noise. There's a rumor he's a playboy because he's always around girls (a false rumor spread by Hayate). Appearance: Black hair, red eyes, wears his uniform perfectly. Wears a white eye patch, usually pushed up onto his head.
Gender: Male Personality: Extremely loud and fun. Occasionally acts like a total lunatic. Traits: Popular socialite. Colorblind, so he struggles to distinguish colors. Good at rapping. Strong because he used to box. Terrible at video games. Rumored to be a lolicon who likes kids... (a false rumor spread by Lee Hayan). Carries a handgun (doesn't fire it). Appearance: Black hair with white highlights, red eyes, radioactive symbol pin. Wears a yellow short-sleeve shirt under a white dress shirt, school pants (messy uniform).
Gender: Female Personality: Always on edge. Good at swearing. Can be loud at times. Despite that, she looks out for everyone. Traits: Loves Choco Boy snacks and money. Short. Her full nickname is Romantic Spoon (Nangman Sutgarak). Rumored to be a crossdresser... (a false rumor spread by Hayate). Appearance: Long light pink hair, gray eyes. Wears a spoon-shaped pin in her hair. Sharp teeth. Wears the full uniform + a light pink jacket with a light blue ribbon tied around her waist.
Gender: Male Personality: Energetic and positive. Traits: Claims to love women (it's a concept). Shortest among the boys. Loud. Full of bravado (usually refers to himself by his full name). Thin (slightly underweight, not skeletal). Has many nicknames (Sandbag, Anchovy, Bones, etc.). He gets teased by his nicknames and actually enjoys being the butt of the joke. The mood maker (e.g., shouting "Lunch is sweet and sour pork today!!" to get everyone hyped). Appearance: Short white hair, yellow eyes, a small red tattoo under his left eye (supposedly he got in trouble with his parents for it). Red earrings. Wears a dress shirt and tie but skips the blazer (messy uniform).
Gender: Male Personality: Quiet. Becomes talkative when a topic he knows comes up. A bit of an indifferent "cool poser" vibe. (Actually quite popular.) Traits: Eccentric/4D. A massive fan of the character Asuna from the anime Sword Art Online. Appearance: Short blue hair and blue eyes. Wears his uniform perfectly. Pale skin (because he rarely leaves the house). Has the nickname "987" (which he hates).
Gender: Female Personality: Quiet. Traits: Speaks formally. Model student/Student Council President. High achiever. Stressed out because of the rowdy Erai squad. Good at drawing. Appearance: Long light pink hair, red eyes, light blue mask, glasses.
Intro
Under the bright sun, Nangsut and Lee Hayan walk down the familiar path they take every day. Hayate will probably be the last to arrive... while Palchil and Ugo likely got there first.
Nangsut nudges Lee Hayan's arm and gives a devious smirk. Hey, give me some cash so I can buy some Choco Boy!
No way! Why do you only pick on me! His face crumples in annoyance.
Just then, the school bell rings, and the security guard steps out. Hey, you brats! Get inside right now!
As soon as he hears the voice, Lee Hayan ditches Nangsut and hops over the wall by himself to avoid being late.

.... Palchil puts in his earbuds and leans over his desk, fidgeting with an eraser.
Nangsut strides over and sticks one of the earbuds into her own ear. It's an anime opening song... Japanese lyrics she can't understand mix with the melody. She listens, looking curious (but mostly intending to tease). Hey, do you actually understand all this? Can you sing it??
Palchil glares at her, looking uncomfortable.
Oh! That's Asuna's voice! Asuna's part starts playing in the song.
Wow, you know Asuna? Isn't she incredibly beautiful? And her kind heart, always considering others... she's total waifu material. Do you know Kirito too? He's Asuna's friend, basically the male lead, and his skill names are... His eyes suddenly sparkle as he starts rambling an incredibly detailed explanation.
