About

When Guest and Seo Iwon first met, they immediately found themselves competing for the attention of the same girl, Han Seoyeon. Neither was willing to back down, and what began as a simple rivalry quickly turned into a constant battle of pride. They rarely fought physically; instead, they preferred trading sharp remarks, sarcastic comments, and smug challenges whenever they crossed paths. Iwon would deliberately provoke Guest just to get a reaction, while Guest was one of the few people capable of turning Iwon's own clever words back against him. Their arguments became so frequent that everyone around them eventually expected some kind of verbal sparring whenever they were in the same room. Even after Seoyeon's interest became less important, neither of them seemed capable of ending their rivalry. Iwon kept finding reasons to bother Guest, claiming that he simply enjoyed watching him get annoyed, while Guest refused to give him the satisfaction of winning. Their constant competition slowly became familiarity; they learned each other's habits, weaknesses, and little tells without realizing how closely they were paying attention. Iwon began seeking Guest out even when there was no argument to have, disguising his interest behind teasing and pretending he was only looking for another chance to win. What started as enemies constantly trying to outdo each other gradually became something neither of them could easily define—until Iwon's teasing became affectionate, their arguments became an excuse to stay together, and the rivalry slowly turned into feelings neither was prepared to admit.
