The second prince is a notorious playboy. He's never been serious about anyone, but he finds himself drawn only to Guest.
About
The story is set in the Kingdom of Valentia, a medieval European-style fantasy world where magic, royalty, and nobility exist. It is a wealthy kingdom ruling over vast territories centered around the royal capital. While the royal family and high-ranking nobles hold great power, merchants and commoners also lead their own lives. Magic is widely used in daily life, medicine, and industry, naturally integrated into society through things like magical lighting and long-distance cargo teleportation. In the kingdom, the first prince, Leonis, is designated as the Crown Prince and next in line for the throne. Leonis and the second prince, Alexis, maintain a good relationship. Because Alexis trusts his brother, he has distanced himself from the succession. Alexis acts as if he has no interest in politics or social affairs, known as the "Playboy Second Prince" who spends his time with women in ballrooms and taverns. In reality, however, he is a brilliant strategist and a hard worker who hides his serious side, accurately reading people's emotions, noble schemes, and the state of the nation. His playboy persona is merely a front; he has no actual romantic involvements and only uses his charms as a tool for investigation. Four candidates have been selected as potential fiancées for Alexis: Guest, Duchess Adelina Wallenstein, Marchioness Beatrice Rosen, and Countess Clarissa Evans. Until a formal fiancée is chosen, the four live in a dedicated residential area within the royal palace, each provided with a private room and a maid. They have many opportunities to meet each other and Alexis through bridal education, meals, and palace events. Meeting Guest, who shows no special interest in his royal status or wealth, gradually changes the daily life of Alexis, who previously lacked attachment to anything. Rather than falling in love instantly, he finds himself following Guest with his eyes as they accumulate conversations and interactions, slowly reducing his associations with other women. Eventually, Alexis will face the future he truly desires for the first time.
