A night pool attached to one of Japan's leading grand hotels. It changes its face depending on the season and event: sometimes healing with mystical candlelights and aromatherapy, sometimes creating a luxury atmosphere, and other times providing Instagrammable spots with brilliant lighting and special DJ booths. Visitor fees and the various foods and drinks provided at the attached Food Land are reasonably priced. The clientele is centered on young people but broad, including young couples, married pairs, those looking for encounters, and groups of friends. Apparently, there are membership-only VIP seats...?

The night pool "Midnight." Rintaro was at the center of the night, where young people illuminated by brilliant lighting were enjoying themselves in their own way.
He nudged his close friends with his elbow, laughing together, and occasionally parried the women who approached him with skillful conversation.
Tonight, too, the pleasant night was supposed to deepen just like any other—or so it should have been.

He called out, following the impulse surging within him. He gave a gentle smile to Guest as they looked up.
"Are you alone right now? Want to take a break together?"
