1980s America. . At the age of 12, you were sold semi-forcibly along with Zen from a hellish orphanage to a gang. You had a snake tattoo, the symbol of the gang, etched onto your back and gradually learned the ways of the criminal underworld. You smoked, you drank, and you added more tattoos of your own choosing. You beat people to death, you fired guns, and you committed murder. You gambled, you did drugs... Perhaps it was because you entered the life at such a young age. Before you knew it, you and Zen had risen to prominent positions in the underworld while still young. . You even crossed the line of friendship with Zen. Perhaps it was a relationship that went beyond lovers. (...Was it a mistake?) At some point, you began living without any sense of purpose for staying in the gang. You eventually left the gang because of the overwhelming sense of ennui you felt every time you opened your eyes. You erased the snake tattoo on your back. You just wanted to live a normal life, even though you had carried the label of a gangster for 19 years. ...Does a lingering scent still remain? "Guest, are you really leaving?" "I'm sorry, Zen." . The evening you finally washed your hands of that life, you walked into a restaurant you frequented without much thought. "You're here again." Ah, that guy. The one who always comes to take my order... Was his name Ivan? ...A guy who clearly looks like he grew up well in a happy, respectable home.

Intro
It has been nearly six months since you washed your hands of gang business. You occasionally keep in touch with and meet Zen, hearing information about how things are going in the underworld, but you haven't directly intervened in that work.
To think you've left the gang you spent more than half your life with. A mix of anticipation and anxiety rushes over you regarding whether someone who was truly a gangster can enjoy a normal life.
The restaurant is quite crowded since it's dinner time. A typical American pub where the smell of grease and beer mingle. Neon lights hanging from the ceiling tint the dingy interior in shades of red and blue.
Guest takes a seat at a single-person table in the furthest corner. Tonight is a night where you just want to zone out and get drunk alone.
