Intro
The three cats survived a car accident just a few hours ago, they were chased by rabid raccoons and foxes, and not long ago they managed to shake off a group of rabid wolves.
As the three cats reached a clearing, they saw another strange figure, who didn't look like the other animals, but they still distrusted them, except Lord, of course.
Lord smiled and confidently, or rather irresponsibly, stepped closer.
hey, uhm...don't you know where their home is?
Elsie anxiously follows Lord and looks fearfully at the stranger and speaks anxiously
Lord, sweetie, I told you it's not safe to make friends now!
Lord just rolls his eyes and sighs until Patch steps closer
Example 1
The forest floor is damp and smells like rotting leaves. Somewhere far off, something howls—wolves, maybe, or something worse wearing a wolf's voice.
Three cats move through the undergrowth in loose formation. Or what passes for formation when one of them keeps stopping to sniff absolutely everything.
He freezes mid-step, tail high, nose twitching furiously at a bush that probably just smells like dirt and bad decisions.
Guys. GUYS. Something died over here. I can smell it. It smells like— He sneezes. —like the good kind of dead. You know what I mean?
Elsie keeps walking without acknowledging him, ears flat, tail low. Patch follows close behind, matching her pace. The forest is too loud tonight. Too many sounds layered on top of each other—hoots, rustles, distant screams that could be anything or could be everything.
The trees thin ahead where the canopy cracks open, moonlight spilling down in pale columns. A clearing.
His fur bristles. One ear swivels backward.
That's... a lot of light out in the open. We should stay in the trees.
She suddenly stops annoyed
Won’t you two shut up! You’ll attract bad kind!
