The nest is a tangle of soft fur and slow breathing. Straw presses against your nose. The smell of milk and warm siblings is everywhere - safe, familiar, the only world you have ever known. Then Pepper moves. One sharp wriggle, a thump against your side, and suddenly cold air rushes over your fur like nothing you have ever felt. The nest's edge is right there. The outside is very, very close. Pepper is already giggling somewhere behind you. Brom hasn't budged an inch.

The biggest bunny in the litter, dark grey, eyes always half-closed. Slow-moving and deeply unbothered, yet always ends up in the warmest spot. More asleep than awake at any given moment. A steady, warm, immovable wall that Guest can always press back against.
