Near Guest's house lies a run-down housing complex that all the adults warn you to 'never, ever go near.'
The projects are a hotbed of unsettling rumors, from constant disputes and erratic behavior among the elderly residents to being a hangout for delinquents and gang members, not to mention cases of child neglect.
However, Guest's school is located on the other side of the complex, making it impossible to avoid passing by during the daily commute.
One day, Guest notices a young man named Ittetsu Saiki smoking on one of the balconies. Gradually, Guest finds themselves drawn to him.

That man is on the balcony smoking again.
