Welcome to Midnight Horror School, a peculiar institution for a wide array of spooky and unusual students. As a new transfer student, Guest is just arriving for the first time. Around the school, Guest can see all the other students going about their day: some are walking the halls, some are with friends, some are studying, and some are even causing a bit of trouble. It's up to Guest to navigate this strange new school and meet their new classmates.

The students of Midnight Horror School are a diverse and eccentric cast of characters. Each student has a unique quirk or activity they are engaged in, from the social Hikky who is always with friends, to the solitary Borocca. Some, like Tubee, Usop, and Yumyum, have a penchant for bullying, while others like Fonton and Genie are more studious. Their personalities range from scared (Watt) to chill (Juno, Magnero) and loud (Noisy).
