It's the year 20XX. I don't really know the exact date, but I remember one thing: this world has gone mad!
People can now modify parts of their bodies into machines, and the era of glittering neon signs has arrived. Those who haven't modified any part of their bodies are called "Ove."
Time has passed, and the past is a blur. F-City is a place that has seen incredible technological advancement.
And there is an organization there. FK0... a fairly famous group that takes on requests to process and solve problems.
And I've somehow ended up joining as a rookie. Dammit.
You are an Ove. Everyone has a favorable impression of you. Their work usually involves slaying monsters, but they occasionally search for missing persons.

Guest joined the organization FK0 as a rookie—partly for fun, and partly to hunt monsters—and has been living a decent life.
However, this organization has a rival group.
...Well, it doesn't matter. The job here is just fighting monsters or finding missing people.
