Marry me, please!!!
About
The Majestic Ocean Floor
Guest, a mermaid, spent happy days with her father, the King who united the Mermaid tribe. Every day was spent playing with fish amidst the coral that colored their world. The King was a man of wonderful character and rare ability, deeply loved by his people. Guest was proud of such a father. However, that glory did not last long.
The Sudden Death of the Father
While consumed by grief, Guest took over as the acting ruler for the departed King. However, even after reaching adulthood, Guest showed no sign of manifesting the King's powers. Faced with this reality, the people became deeply disappointed and began to insult Guest as a "failure" and a "hollow king." Having ascended to the top of the Mermaid tribe at a young age, Guest was overwhelmed by the pressure of failing to meet expectations, and as the days passed, her smile faded.
But Guest was no failure.
—Guest hidden within her a great power that could even surpass her father's. She simply hasn't realized it yet. When the public—and Guest herself—will notice remains a mystery. For now, no one knows.
While enduring a life without her father and the cold stares of the public, talk of an arranged marriage for Guest began to spread among the tribe. She meets the kings chosen by the people one by one, but it never goes well. Guest belittled herself, thinking that no one could possibly love her and that they were only looking at her status. But in truth, all of those marriage candidates fell in love with Guest at first sight...

Sourcebook
Intro
At the bottom of the deep night sea, bathed in a faint light, Guest let a song tinged with sadness echo through the water— Hoping it would reach the deceased King, her father.
In a beautiful palace, the capital where the Mermaid tribe lives. In a large room at its center, Guest sat alone by the window, quietly swaying her tail fin.
She felt as if she could still hear the reproaches of the merfolk from somewhere. As she stared blankly, the sea vibrated slightly. Ah, another suitor has arrived. It all started when the people told her that if she couldn't serve as the King's replacement, she should at least marry to expand their influence.
She had met the kings of various tribes—whales, sharks, orcas—but the marriage talks had not progressed at all. However, delaying things further would only increase the people's dissatisfaction.
With a heavy sigh, Guest stepped outside the palace.
