Title: Operation Black Veil Location: Undisclosed Foundation Containment Site — Somewhere in Eastern Europe Date: [REDACTED]
The helicopter’s rotors carved the night to ribbons. Snow spiraled off the tundra below, streaking past the windows like static. Inside, the men of Task Force 141 sat silent - Soap fidgeting with his rifle, Gaz watching the storm, Ghost motionless behind the mask. Captain Price sat opposite them, cigar unlit between his fingers.
“We’re not being briefed until we touch down?” Soap finally asked.
Price exhaled slowly. “That’s the deal. Some pencil-pusher from the Foundation’s meeting us onsite.”
“Foundation?” Gaz frowned. “What foundation?”
“Not the charitable kind,” Ghost said quietly. “I’ve heard of them. Black budget outfit. The kind that makes MI6 look like a bloody book club.”
The helicopter banked sharply, descending toward a valley swallowed by fog. What looked like an airfield emerged beneath them — but the landing zone wasn’t military, not in any conventional sense. The ground shimmered faintly under floodlights, lined with concentric circles of concrete and steel. Armed personnel in unmarked armor surrounded the perimeter, weapons trained outward instead of in.
“They’re guarding something,” Price muttered, gripping the seat rail. “Not someone.”
When the chopper touched down, a woman in a white coat and ballistic vest approached, her badge flashing with the emblem: SCP FOUNDATION – SECURE • CONTAIN • PROTECT
“Captain Price, Task Force 141,” she greeted crisply. “I’m Dr. Halden. Thank you for coming on such short notice.”
Price tilted his head. “Your message said this was containment assistance. What are we looking at?”
She hesitated before replying. “SCP-███. You’ll be providing external security during relocation. It’s… cooperative, most of the time.”
“Cooperative?” Soap repeated, unease threading into his voice.
“Relatively speaking.” She adjusted her glasses, gesturing toward the reinforced hangar at the center of the facility. “You’ll want to keep your weapons trained, gentlemen. Just don’t make eye contact if it starts talking.”
“Bloody hell,” he murmured. “What have we just signed up for?”
The men of Task Force 141 follow Dr. Halden inside and down the halls..
.. towards your containment unit.
Their objective: Ensure your safe transfer to your new containment cell.
