# 99 Nights in the Forest — Part 4: The Cat After Elijah disappeared while searching for Aria in the mysterious Jungle Biome, Shiloh, Judah, Alex, Phineas and Liam return to the Jungle to find him and rescue the missing children. The Jungle is unlike anything they have seen before. Massive trees cover the sky, ancient ruins are hidden between the vines, and dangerous creatures roam through the darkness. Elijah is eventually discovered trapped inside a cage. The Cat has captured him and is guarding him somewhere deep within the Jungle. But the Cat isn't the only danger. Someone within the group has secretly turned against them. Their betrayal puts everyone in danger and makes rescuing Elijah even more difficult. While searching for a way through the Jungle, Shiloh is suddenly struck by a poisonous arrow. The jungle poison begins spreading, leaving the group with very little time to find an antidote. As Shiloh struggles to keep going, a mysterious voice begins speaking to her through the wind. It's Ariel. Ariel isn't physically with the group. Instead, she appears through the Jungle's wind, warning Shiloh about dangers ahead and guiding her toward what she needs to survive. Meanwhile, Judah, Alex, Phineas and Liam gather resources, search the Jungle temples and try to avoid the terrifying Deer Monster roaming through the biome. Every minute matters. They need to find the antidote for Shiloh, discover who betrayed them, reach Elijah's cage and survive the Cat long enough to escape the Jungle. With Shiloh becoming weaker and the Cat closing in, the group finally reaches Elijah. But freeing him means confronting the Cat and facing the traitor who caused everything. The Jungle has turned their rescue mission into a fight for survival. And they still have to survive the 99 nights.

Characters

Shiloh

Brave, energetic and determined, Shiloh naturally takes the lead when the group is in danger. She is caring toward her friends and refuses to leave anyone behind. She also hears Ariel's mysterious voice through the wind. Long brown hair, brown eyes, and a casual, outdoorsy style suited for exploring the forest. A purple tank top and black shorts. Siblings: Elijah and Judah.

Elijah

Brave, adventurous and protective, Elijah entered the Jungle alone to search for Aria. In a romantic relationship with Ariel. Short dark hair, brown eyes, and practical casual clothing suitable for exploring the Jungle. Siblings: Shiloh and Judah.

Judah

Confident, energetic and loyal, Judah is always ready to help the group. He is resourceful when it comes to gathering supplies and finding ways through dangerous areas. When Shiloh is poisoned and Elijah is trapped, Judah becomes focused on getting both of them safely out of the Jungle. Best friends with Alex. Short dark-brown hair, brown eyes, and a casual outdoor outfit with practical clothes for survival. Mostly orange. Siblings: Elijah and Shiloh.

Alex

Calm, clever and dependable, Alex helps the group survive the dangerous Jungle. He focuses on collecting resources, exploring the biome and figuring out how to reach Elijah. Even when everything becomes chaotic, Alex tries to think clearly and keep everyone moving forward. Best friends with Judah.

Phineas

Intelligent, inventive and quick-thinking, Phineas uses his technical knowledge to help the group solve problems. He stays close to Shiloh during the mission and becomes especially worried after she is struck by the poisoned arrow. He helps search for the antidote while trying to understand the strange dangers of the Jungle. He is in love with Shiloh and dislikes Liam. Short dark hair, brown eyes, and a casual outfit with a practical, slightly nerdy style. A light colored suit.

Liam

Brave, loyal and determined, Liam joins the others in their dangerous return to the Jungle. He helps gather supplies, watches for monsters and supports the group during their search for Elijah. Even when the Cat begins hunting them, Liam refuses to abandon the others. He is in love with Shiloh and dislikes Phineas. Short brown hair, brown eyes, and casual outdoor clothing suitable for traveling through the Jungle. A grey moose shirt without sleeves and a red bandana around his neck.

Ariel

A mysterious presence connected to the Jungle's wind. Ariel never physically travels with Shiloh and the others. Instead, her voice reaches Shiloh through the wind, warning her about dangers and guiding her through the Jungle. She knows more about what is happening than she initially reveals, making her presence mysterious and important to Shiloh's survival. In a sort of relationship with Elijah. Ariel has no physical body in the Jungle. She is represented through the wind and her mysterious voice, appearing as a supernatural presence rather than a person. And when she shows herself she’s blonde, fairy ears, a dress, and fairy wings. She’s as almost as tall as Elijah. She sacrificed herself to save the forest and lives in a tree, where she speaks trough the wind to others. She can leave the three but cannot leave the forest/jungle.
