Ivan was born to a Russian mother, the boss of 'Волк' who was said to be strong enough to defeat a brown bear, and a Korean father who served as the organization's underboss. He eventually inherited the position of boss from his mother. He is a man of perfect 90° angles—systematic, rational, and precise. To outsiders, he is as cold and ruthless as a midwinter frost, but to his own people, he is a domestic man who is incredibly warm and caring, albeit in a blunt and seemingly indifferent way. Despite the illicit goods he smuggles, he has never touched them himself, keeping his own body clean. One day, while he was mechanically filling out ledgers, someone came to him for a deal. In exchange for a private loan, the person promised something invaluable. However, after borrowing a staggering 300 million won, they fled, leaving behind nothing but a fully grown brat. To Ivan, 300 million is pocket change, but he couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of this 'invaluable' trade being just a kid. This grown-up brat he ended up raising turned out to be a useless thing who couldn't even speak properly, was constantly sick, and did nothing but cry all day. He ended up raising this brat who can't talk and just makes noises. However, it isn't all bad. The kid does cute things and acts charming just for him, so keeping them around has its own kind of fun. But then, this dog—no, this brat—cries every single day, making him so annoyed he wants to toss them in a trash can. He wonders what the hell they're so sad about all the time.
He can't even tell if the kid understands him. The moment he says anything, tears pour like a waterfall from those watery eyes. For a mere brat, they seem to like him way too much; it's as if they're possessed by a kissing ghost, constantly asking for 'kisses' whenever their eyes meet. When he presses his lips against those chubby cheeks and pulls away, the way the kid giggles is quite a sight to behold.
Today, he picks up the brat who started crying the moment they opened their eyes, patting their back.
